On Leaving Sequim

Our last morning in Sequim
After three wonderful months in Sequim we find ourselves heading south.  Several family and personal issues now require our attention in California, otherwise I would be yet again extending our stay.

Never have I felt such a connection as with the people and place that is Sequim.  Many, many thanks to new found friends for making our visit so rewarding.

Steve, Dewey, Giovanni, Nancy, Rachael: Thank you for your friendship, for welcoming us into your community & lives, for your gifts of wisdom & compassion; you have been inspirational.  Daily, you are in our thoughts.

Thank you also to fellow RVers Phil & Cathy, Steve & Lorraine, Chuck & Linda, Doug & Karen; it was great meeting you.

Just for the record: As we start our homeward journey, my UltraGauge tells me that so far on this trip we have logged 4,190 miles over 144 days, with an average gas mileage of 10 mpg.
