Tishomingo State Park

A short distance from the Trace at milestone 304 is Tishomingo State Park, where we've pulled in for just one night.  Some of the sites are a bit too close to standing water for our liking (think mosquitoes), but we were able to find a good spot above the lake that's fairly dry.  We have water and power hookup with a great view.

Not only does the park provide a dump station to meet RVer's physical requirements but also a place of worship for their spiritual needs!

  1. Church in the woods! For travels, St. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint, right?

Well, that sure is a juxtaposition of the Crystal Cathedral back in California :-)
Wonder if woodland creatures act as ushers and pass around the collection plate.....
