Silver City, NM

Leaving Tombstone behind us we crossed into New Mexico earlier this afternoon, finally making our way to Silver City where we checked into a KOA campground (site #24).  Very friendly, great dog park, complimentary cookies, about $33 including tax.

Update:

Site #24

  1. Well, it looks like you guys "struck silver" at this camp location! Site #24 faces some trees and close to the dog area, good for Dexter and Joani :-) What exactly is a "Kamping Kabin?" Can you post a photo?
Premium, full hook ups? Does that mean filtered water, artificial turf lawn, and perhaps evening turn down service of your bed with a thin mint on your fluffed, 500 thread count pillow each night?

  2. Wow! Look at those cabins! A/C in them too! They are really cool! Similar to a log cabin, but with all the amenities. And your site, #24, you have two picnic benches. The dog area is geared towards exercise with some obstacles to play on. Thank you for the additional pictures and I am sure the other faithful readers to this blog site will appreciate the photos as well.
