Hardly an auspicious start ...

So far 2015 is off to a pretty ropy start ...

  • The pound has dropped to $1.52 adversely impacting some of our retirement income

  • Jane's knee problem has taken a significant turn for the worse

  • I have developed an ugly bout of bronchitis and need to see the quack

  • Colin's car has broken down and is going in today for an expensive repair

  • Our dog Dexter ate some of the cat's food which caused him a day of diarrhea yesterday

  • The cat threw up this morning

  • It's now Day Twenty Nine of our "Ten Day" kitchen remodel and we still have a couple of outstanding problems

  • The Telegraph just published "ten warning signs of a market crash in 2015"

  1. Oh man! You are having a bad start, like my Dad! I thought I would "mix up" the list here just for fun/give you a smile with otherwise a bad start to the New Year for you both. Forgive me if this is too much!

The cat threw up only $1.52 adversely impacting some of our retirement income, then developed an ugly bout of balance bronchitis and need to see an investment quack.

Dexter's paw problem has taken a significant turn for the worse; he only makes right turns now

The cat's car has broken down and is going in today for an expensive repair to remove a hair ball in the tail pipe

Colin ate some of the cat's food which caused him a day of diarrhea yesterday, but a a good night of Karaoke

    Jane threw up this morning

It's now Jane's 29th turn at our Ten Day kitchen remodel, hammer and nail in hand, and we still have a couple of outstanding problems

The Telegraph just published "29 warning signs to watch out with regard to unfinished kitchen projects in 2015"

    1. Hey Greg - you missed your natural calling - you should have been a comedy script writer! Thanks for the laugh.

  2. You are welcome! Yes, when I lived in the greater L.A. area years ago, I have a few friends/customers who expressed the same comments, and they were in the "business" of writing comedy for the studios there.
