Rainbow Point Campground

Two miles down a rutted, badly pot-holed, access road we've pulled into Rainbow Point Campground for just one night before going to Yellowstone in the morning.
We've seen no sign of the much vaunted rainbow, just lots of heavy rain, lots of mosquitoes between downpours, grave warnings posted everywhere about grizzlies being active in the campground, and the threat of blue-green algae (Cyanobacteria) in adjoining Hebgen Lake. If ingested this toxic algae is lethal to dogs, so we have little reason to want to visit the lake even if the rain stops and by some miracle all the mosquitoes vanish.
Yep, one night's more than enough!
I hear AT&T coverage in Yellowstone is pretty much non-existent so don't be surprised if there are no more posts for a day or two!
